What Are The Health Benefits of Using A.Vogel HERBAMARE in stead of Table Salt ?

46. WHAT ARE THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF USING HERBAMARE INSTEAD OF TABLE SALT?

Herbamare’s secret lies in its carefully crafted blend of pure sea salt and 12 freshly harvested, organic aromatic vegetables and herbs. Use it like table salt to enhance the flavour of your vegetables, meat, poultry, fish and seafood.

What’s more, Herbamare is made of sea salt, a naturally occurring sodium chloride compound, and contains important minerals like calcium and magnesium, not to mention 80 essential trace elements. It’s well-known today that minerals provide enormous health benefits. For example, calcium prevents osteoporosis and is essential to bone health, while magnesium is good for the heart and trace elements vital to enzyme function. The body is naturally made to consume sea salt.

Every Herbamare aromatic sea salt variety also contains kelp, which is extremely rich in minerals. Of course, all these delicious condiments are GMO- and MSG-free.

YERBA MATE !!!!

In Europe it is used for weight loss, physical and mental fatigue, nervous depression, rheumatic pains and psychogenic and fatigue related headaches. In Germany it has become popular as a weight-loss aid. Yerba mate is the subject of a German monograph which lists its approved uses for mental and physical fatigue.

In France yerba mate is approved for the treatment of asthenia (weakness or lack of energy), as an aid in weight-loss programs and as a diuretic.

It also appears in the British Herbal Phamacopoeia (1996) and indicated for the treatment of fatigue, weight loss and headaches. In the U.S., Dr. James Balch, M.D. recommends yerba mate for arthritis, headaches, hemorrhoids, fluid retention, obesity, fatigue, stress, constipation, allergies and hay fever, and states that it “cleanses the blood, tones the nervous system, retards aging, stimulates the mind, controls the appetite, stimulates the production of cortisone and is believed to enhance the healing powers of other herbs.”

Important Info for Diabetic Patients !

Very Important Info for Diabetics Patients !!!

Herbs for Diabetes –

Cinnamon-

Cinnamon is perhaps the most widely recognized herbal diabetes treatment. This common spice is believed to act as an insulin sensitizer. In one study, 60 adults with Type 2 diabetes who regularly took cinnamon found a drop of 18 to 29 percent in their average blood sugar levels. A quick survey of online message boards and blogs also reveals that many diabetics have experienced a similar drop simply by adding cinnamon to their daily regimen. Sprinkle it on an apple or add it into soup—there are many easy ways to use cinnamon for diabetes.

Fenugreek-

A seed often used in Middle Eastern cooking and found in many curry dishes, fenugreek is also among the beneficial herbs for diabetes. According to Reader’s Digest, the seeds have been shown to reduce blood sugar, increase insulin sensitivity, and even reduce high cholesterol. A study found that 60 people who took 25 grams of the seed each day found “significant improvements in blood sugar and post-meal spikes.”

Ginseng-

Ginseng is a root that’s easy to find in supplement form, or you can make a tincture of it. It is said to have both immune-boosting and disease-fighting benefits. Scientists say that the herb slows carbohydrate absorption, improves the body’s use of blood glucose, and increases insulin production in the pancreas. A University of Toronto study found that ginseng capsules can lower blood sugar by 15 to 20 percent.

Gymnema Sylvestre-

Gymnema Sylvestre is native to India and has been connected to many metabolic disorders, including diabetes. It is said to work to reduce blood sugar by blocking “sugar binding sites” in the cells, not allowing the glucose to accumulate in the body. Other research also says it may increase insulin production.

Although complex, diabetes is a disease that is highly manageable. Understanding its complexities will help you understand the need to approach it from a holistic standpoint—employing “alternative” healing to manage and even help reverse it in the case of Type 2 diabetes. Try out some of these herbs for diabetes and see what works, and doesn’t work, for you.

Sage Tea Health Benefits !!

EFFECTS ON DIABETES

Sage is among the herbal plants that’s considered being of benefit to patients with diabetes, according to Pub Med website. A study by researchers C. F. Lima, M. F. Azevedo, et. al., was done at the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal, August, 2006. Entitled, “Metformin-Like effect of Salvia officinalis (common sage): is it useful in diabetes prevention?” The purpose of the study was to verify the anti-diabetic effects of an infusion of sage tea in mice. The results showed sage tea infusion effects on the fasting glucose levels in normal animals and its metformin (a drug used to treat Type 2 diabetes) like effects on rat hepatocytes (liver cells) suggest sage may be useful as a food supplement in preventing Type 2 diabetes by lowering the blood glucose of individuals at risk.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

Sage tea is beneficial in treating fevers and colds, sore throat and headaches as well as indigestion and gastro-intestinal upsets.
